Eureka Machines news

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Jo might have a point. 8)

Just noticed the highly improbable-sounding 'gigs' they're playing this friday, at Garforth Town football ground (best stop short of using the word 'stadium').   :notworthy:

Literally 5 minutes round the corner from me. What are the flippin chances of that? :D :notworthy:

And as for having to sit through a Garforth Town game....well there's worse teams in Leeds. :innocent:
Important: due to dodgy weather forecast and a lack of PA, Eureka Machines will NOT be playing at the match this Friday, but they will be doing it at some point...

Confirmed :innocent:

For anyone not going to the HL meetup in Leeds, Eureka Machines will be playing at The Royal Oak, Lytham Rd, Blackpool on Sat 5th Sept (EM on around 11pm, music from 9pm).
Admission is FREE !

And on Fri 25th Sept, same venue, Ben will be bringing Night By Night oop North for some candy floss too. Again, admission is FREE and stage times remain the same.

Sorry Quiffy, only time I could get them & it was Chris who gave me the date !

It must be rubbing off...

Oh, alright, to be truthful...
I was really keen on doing this as a vinyl release, maybe 500 copies only, but we'd have had to sell it at least £3 a shot just to cover costs, which I thought was a bit excessive for two songs.

"Saturday 28 November 2009 - Brudenell Social Club, Leeds (Nearly Christmas party)" That's the official line.

Who needs an excuse?

Those lovely light bulbs are also on for free too on the promenade so get yourselves on the bus/train/bicycle and come along. You've time for a candy floss and to buy some rock before they start :D
