Any idea where these were taken?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

:o

that doesn't look like craig on bass...

Image

and as far as i know, craig only ever played fender precision/jazz and gibson thunderbird bass guitars. i've never seen him using a rickenbacker before... :?:

is that the near-mythical "dave" (or whatever he was called) that stood in for him for a couple of gigs?

i think it looks like craig. its early 1984, likely shortly after having spent fresh warner-money for instruments (- what did all of them buy, even andrew bought a guitar???) maybe craig a rickenbacker? obviously craig sounded different early 84, much more raw and distorted, so this would fit for a rickenbacker

i know craig did go through a period of back-combing his hair, but i think it looks too thin () in the face and arms to be him :|
