Goosebumps

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

U2 - New Years Day
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

Hmmm... the only one I can think of right now is Type O Negative's All Hallows' Eve. It's the perfect combination of their post-punk and heavy metal sensibilities, and one of the rare occasions this band played everything straight.
You can take a tiger out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the tiger... on the other hand, the tiger can't step into the same river twice because other waters are always flowing on to it. Yeah.

I suggest you go and see "The Lovely Bones" when it's out (soon!). There is a scene where they use that song. Not a huge fan of the song usually but it was used so well I bawled my eyes out!

Beyond The Pale - The That Guitarist Doo-Dah Band

Dakota - Stereophonics. This always seemed to be on the radio when I was driving to/from the LGI to see my daughter when she was born.

Dakota - I always used to dance to it with my daughter when she was two. Listening to it now, slight bumpage.
