Alexander McQueen found dead

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Alexander McQueen, UK fashion designer, found dead

The fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead, his company said.

His office confirmed to the BBC that Mr McQueen, 40, was discovered at his London home this morning.

The Metropolitan Police said that his death was not being treated as suspicious. Unconfirmed reports have suggested that he took his own life.

Time to resurrect some of those Versace jokes, then...

How do you tell a McQueen shirt ..... five holes - four buttons.

McQueen always was a fashion victim.

The police have caught the killer, he is pleading not Gaultier.

McQueen was shot with a Moschino gun.

The killer is at large and is Armanied and dangerous.

The police think this wasn't an isolated incident and are still trying
to find a pattern for the murders.

Apparently he was shot in the face .........not for the first time!!!

Shame! RIP mister who died a few days after his mother.

That's just really sad.

Got to wonder if that's why...

Blimey. I'm surprised that people hadn't heard of him. I wouldn't exactly call myself a "dedicated follower of fashion" (as anyone who has met me can testify ) but he's (or rather was) one of the most famous British fashion designers of the last 20 years.

Yes, but had he had any kind of recognition outside his industry?

I'm not familiar either...

Your line in stripey shirts suggests otherwise Mark.

He was my favourite designer - one of the few big names who I would actually wear clothes by (if I could afford them, which I can't). Very sad.

his lifestyle is what did it. a mistress (dutch) only wore his shoes for the one roll playing lovers that had a feet fetish.

now it all makes sense.
