Hey Robrobertzombie wrote:Train times from London to the Spa aren't available for August yet, but the July prices are high!
Me and (long suffering) girlfriend are getting the train from Croydon to this one. We are going via London with a Network Card and its only £15 for a return ticket (valid for one month). Just buying them on the day. Assuming you have some kind of student/young person's railcard, you must be in roughly the same situation.
Only thing to mention is that our train tickets are only valid as far as Banbury (thats where the network card boundary is - Leamington is only one extra stop, so should only be a couple of quid more), but back when I was at university the student railcard covered the whole country.
I'll stop now before I sound a total trainspotter . Point I'm trying to make is that you should be good to get there and back for under £20 even if the advance deals ain't that great.

Heading straight for the mainland, the train connections look very convenient. There are many trains and they go very often it seems.Andrew S wrote:Is anyone haging around Leamington for a while the day after or just heading straight for the mainland / going home?

Book through the Assembly website and save £5 in comparison to the Sisters site (assuming you select box office collection).
And it's secure

Forgot to mention that The Wife went to Leeds station today to see if they had a ticket cheaper than the £53 me and Derek saw on the internetty. Lady said cheap tickets will not be available until at 12 weeks before the gig.

Not sure if this'll help anyone, but with all this talk on travel arrangements, I'll be driving down on the 3rd and joining the M6 at junction 27 (not sure what time yet, probably about 1'ish) so anyone needing a lift from here or en route, gimme a shout, got 3 places. Axe wielding maniacs need not apply

I think it'll be just standing as seating tickets aren't currently available.
