book swap and book recycling sites

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I have recently stumbled across two rather groovy websites -

www.readitswapit.co.uk

I have done a few swaps on here now and it's good fun

www.greenmetropolis.com

sell your old books and make money! (I have done this as well)

Worth a look, bookworms!

Anyone want a shedload of Graham Hancock books (daft pish)?

Or a copy of Kurt Cobain's Journals (dull as ditchwater)?

They're off to Oxfam if I can't unload them on some unsuspecting mug... erm I mean discerning customer.

:innocent:

I also still have a copy of Peter Straub's Ghost Story from Hom that he doesn't want back and certainly is worth a read.
