anyone ever come across this box set?
slaughtered
contains material from the slaughterhouse (driffield) studio sessions, and looks like a pretty good sampler for that 80s leeds scene (as well as other bands)
http://www.discogs.com/Various-Slaughte ... se/2078335
stuff like ghost dance, salvation & batfish boys along with more obscure stuff like 3,000 revs, grooving with lucy and the vaynes
been trying to track down a digital copy for a while but to no avail

I've got a copy of this also and haven't dug it out in years. Somebody will upload it for sure. A good blog to check out for this sort of stuff is Return To The East. They've got the Clash Of Dreams Ep and numerous other goth/80's oddities.

Just realised that I have the Guthrie Handley/That Guitarist 12 inch somewhere. Got it for 50p as I recall! It isn't worth a fortune perchance?

I have this box set, which is really really great.
3.000 revs were an amazing band, and happened to have met them while supporting the m*****n in france.
I also have a few live bootlegs on tape in the basement..If anyone interested, drop me a line, and I'll learn how to digitally transfer this!

In addition to my post, I must say I have posted some flyers/letter/photo of "hearts on fire", which was the band Adam formed after 3.000 revs
As we happened to have discussed a that french show and I gave him my contacts, he sent me some kind of press kit which was really great from him.

The guys from that Return To The East blog appeared on HL a while back (and I know them "in real life" too) Michael and Miguel -- good guys.
