RobF, I thought exactly the same too, i last saw them in 2005. The German show was excellent but the London, Notts and Bristol gigs were absolutely dire! And i'd been following them since 1990.RobF wrote:Aw balls: Should have put a bit more effort into making it to this one. I really had just about given up on the band after the admittedly few shows I've done since 2006.
This better not be you lot getting overexcited.
A slow decent from trip the light in 2000 to a fog me and mumble me very numb.... so bad that i couldn't convince my regular followers to attend last night!
It was wasn't a case of getting overexcited, i think it was a pleasant sense of mass euphora - good sound, good setlist and Von in good mood!
Now did anyone bother to record it?? I'm kicking myself for not bothering
because i never get frisked going into gigs.

I'm still no convinced even 'tho RFH was a complete overhaul with nothing apart from the mantra from the pretty boring original, at least this one had some crunch

Thanks for all the reviews, photos and links guys.
Anyone got a video up on youtube of NTTC? I'm just extremely curious to hear that song after so many years.
I think it was the worst song on FALAA (which means about the 10th best song in the world )

Bought three shirts last night, all twenty pounds each.
The two "tour " shirts also came in longsleeve for an extra fiver, they had the same hoody as last year for thirty five quid, and the same scarf for a tenner, and the lyric shirts in "limited" sizes.
Really pleased with the "girls" shirt,it may well be my new favourite

Yes, we mustn't forget NTTC. The great thing is that they played it right. Not sped up, not 2 minutes long, not with half the lyrics left out. They played it right.
Some interesting alternative perspectives appearing on Dominion I see...
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Yeah, I agree. Not bad at all. I haven't heard that track live since 1985, unless I am misremembering?mh wrote: Yes, we mustn't forget NTTC. The great thing is that they played it right. Not sped up, not 2 minutes long, not with half the lyrics left out. They played it right.
