the met uni is about 5 mins walk out of the town centre (the top end of town). from the station it's a 15 min walk across town.CyberAndy wrote:Where is The Met Uni in regards to Main Leeds Train Station, Travelodge near station and the other Travelodge in Leeds ???
it's very near the old bbc offices on wood lane, and the fenton pub, and the uni (not the old poly).
the travelodge on vicar lane is the nearest travelodge to that part of town

Lord, what can the harvest hope for, if not for the care of the reaper man.
But of course. But what was is your nickname in the real world, Back In Time? Not that I ever go there, just asking.Back in time wrote:You know that nobody Out There reads this._emma_ wrote:.

Charming! - yes I will be there. Though if I should be standing next to Bananacamel again, I promise to be very quiet this time.Hom_Corleone wrote:No please don't. I'm blaming Doktor Gott anyway, he is an extremely bad influence!
Yes, I agree Vicar Lane is more conveniently located than the other Travelodge. Rooms are £29 a night at Vicar Lane at the moment, so it could be worth booking early before they are all snapped up, or before the prices increase.Quiff Boy wrote:the travelodge on vicar lane is the nearest travelodge to that part of townCyberAndy wrote:Where is The Met Uni in regards to Main Leeds Train Station, Travelodge near station and the other Travelodge in Leeds ???

Blame who you like.
Actually, it was a nice aside. Almost like listening to an Alan Bennett radio play with a backdrop of The Sisters.

FWIW, I think I'll wear my Batman boxers.

Wednesday sorted... Now, any of my (old) friends would be able to accommodate me for the night? I will behave, I promise, haha!
And... what do you all think? Will there be a secret NME gig before those dates too?

Doing both as well. The opportunity is there so why not?
Expect some delicate heads on the second night.
Dear Mr Eldritch
Please send me forthwith your address, so that I can send you a list of my school terms dates for subsequent years. I have just realised that you have inadvertantly booked your two concerts during termtime. I am sure this is an oversight on your part and I trust that if you had known you would naturally have waited a week to enable me to attend both dates with little disruption to my working life.
As you probably suspect, we teachers live the life of Riley during our 170 days holiday a year. But sadly we can not choose to have them at a time convenient to ourselves.
I trust I will hear from you by return of post.
Yours
