National Express runs coaches between Manchester Airport and Leeds I think.

Erm actually I'm not even going to listen to the band and be home in time for coco.

Oh the shame, thought I'd just shark in and correct my 'tapping too quickly' spelling error and look what's happened??? a whole new post. I may have to crawl away OR highlight it even more by drawing even more attention to it.Debaser wrote:It might be prudent, at this juncture, to remind you of Posts 258 and 259.weebleswobble wrote:Arse tae that lass, we iz going to own it LARGEBatty Von Blingtrash wrote:I feel very ashamed of my enthusiasm now :/

Just want to add in a bit of randomly discharged excitement to this thread.
I'll be their for the pre-drink. Even though the Fenton is far and away the better pub, the dry dock is directly opposite Leeds Met and really easy to find for out-of-towners. So that's where I'll be as well
This is going to be A LOT of fun.
Speculation on who'll be doing support? It'd be great if he got Salvation to do it. Red Lorry Yellow Lorry would be good as well.

I went to the Damnation Festival at the Met Uni in 2007 (Damnation is a metal festival) and I remember watching the Rugby World Cup final in the Fenton, before wandering back to the venue to watch Kreator play some thrash.weebleswobble wrote:It's too far to walkmarkfiend wrote:Word.Maisey wrote:Even though the Fenton is far and away the better pub,

I think most non-Leeds people are staying in the Travelodge on Vicar Lane.

Anyone knows something about the size of the venue? I've seen some pics via google - looks a bit like squeezed a borg cube:

I hear her cry all day, all night
I hear her voice from deep within the wall
Made a cross from knitting needles
Made a grave from hoover bags
Especially for the woman in the wall

And if they don't Manchester Airport has it's own railway station,so getting a train across to Yorkshire shouldn't be hard.Obviousman wrote:Thanks! That's the one part I was still to figure out actuallymarkfiend wrote:National Express runs coaches between Manchester Airport and Leeds I think.
