So my ticket came on Monday. My best mate Collin and I will be heading down, along with hopefully Miss Posh Burd fae Bearsden. Our plan is to get down around 5pm, then depart at 9am the next morning.
Wonder whether we could stow away with Faderhead, as he's playing in Glasgow the following night...
Either way, anyone I've not met, I'll be wearing a black bandana with a smiley face badge, and probably dancing my non-existent tits off. Come say hello. :3

I have been looking into things myself.
train to London, arriving around noon.
gig, afterthingy, sleep.
having some drinks in the area if there still are some people around?
sleep, and getting back home on monday.
now, I just need to make the calculations and get the gut to book it all.

Ticket web appear to have tickets priced at fifteen and six-fifty, as evidenced here. What's the crack, Heartlanders?
And who's coming back to Leeds? I can offer petrol costs and scintillating conversation...

The gig and after party are both in Islington, so the easiest place to meet up will be The Angel pub just opposite the tube station.

No, but I am a big fan of Spoonerisms, which is a shame considering my name ends up as Willy Bilkinson

The York is quite nice from what I remember, I used to semi-regularly drink in there in the late 90s before going on to Slimelight.Morale Vampire wrote:Had a looksee and The York seems a better bet, it's not a 'Spoons, there is seating outside for the smoking fraternity,(me) it's 2 minutes from the O2, it's a pub not a bar and it's still not a 'SpoonsMaisey wrote:The gig and after party are both in Islington, so the easiest place to meet up will be The Angel pub just opposite the tube station.

So, ladies and gents, after much beating around the bush on facebook I finally found the way to this spot again, and can proudly confirm that Eggi and I will be in London, too. Arriving on friday, leaving again on sunday. Anything good on on friday night? Electric Ballroom still exists, and if so what are they offering on a friday night?
See you all next saturday, hopefully...
PS! Wasn't Debbie coming, too?
