Help with identifying this boot?

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Got a boot saying that it is 27-05-84 - Hamburg Markthalle.

Apparently it isn't.

Track listing is:

1. Intro
2. Burn
3. Heartland
4. Body And Soul
5. Anaconda
6. Walk Away
7. Emma
8. Floorshow
9. Adrenochrome
10. Alice
11. Body Electric
12. Gimme Shelter
13. Ghostrider / Sister Ray

Only identifying features are:

Starts with some sort of Marching Music intro. Fades out then Andy says " 'ello"
Says "Thank You" at the end of Burn
Says "Thanks, Heartland" at the beginning of Heartland
Guitars are really ropy in Walk Away. One of the guitars is out of tune slightly and has no effects on it at all. Is also not played very well either. Other guitar has flange. Also different lyrics.
On Gimme Shelter he says "Alright...Hippy trash time"
Ghostrider / Sister Ray fades out before the end of the song.

Any ideas?

I remember that marching music intro. My guess would be that it is the gig two days later, at Detmold. The track list seems to match, but so does the Hamburg date. How come you're sure it's not Hamburg?

I checked with Hal who has the Hamburg boot. I've been using his site to check the track listings. His doesn't have the same intro for the gig.

I've got a copy of the Detmold gig and it isn't the same gig, but it's gotta be somewhere around that time.

This guy is not very up to date on the location of Estonia. Apart from that, the Detmold and Hamburg gigs have the same setlists.

I dug it out and listened to it

As for Estonia, having dealt with the guy in the past, he probably just doesn't give a s**t :innocent:

My back got nice and rosey on Sunday, thank you very much. It's now settling into a nice tan. You expect me to be at home listening to Sisters gigs?

Ok, I'm a little confused now!

Khepri, are you saying that the boot I have IS the Hamburg Markthalle one?

Trust Khepri, he's much older and wiser than me. And probably has more free time.
