Wow.

Any chance they will follow the circus around Europe or is this the only one they are doing? 8)

Chrisalyst on Twitter: "The Sisters news last week was that we are doing Sonisphere. Or, as I like to call it, Knebworth."

I guess this was the news of interest for UK fans that Chris mentioned the other day.

Dare I go out on a limb and get the vibe that something might be in the air this year?

Nah. Been there, done that.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Am a bit behind the times. Is the festival a heavy and/or metal one? Is it the former Knebworth festival? Excuse me ignorance. Am old! ;D

I wonder if it'll be televised/streamed?

Wow a UK festival date!

Guess this one could be in daylight.

Love the blurb "The last time THE SISTERS OF MERCY played at an outdoor UK festival, shell-suits were being swapped for baggy jeans, home taping was the biggest danger to the recording industry and the world wide web had just been made publicly available on the internet for the first time. A lot has changed since then..."

But still no new album!!!!!!!!!

I've not been to a festival since Donington 1996 (feeble, I know) but I fancy this!
