I cant remember the last time I was this excited...oh hang on a minute, yes I can it was 1990 and The Sisters were playing a double dose in Wembley!!!
Quiff, make sure you keep yer phone on you at all times. Things have gone a bit pear-shaped here and I won't be able to get away from school until at least 5.30. So I'll need to know eggsakkerly where you all is when we finally arrive.
Are you all going in fer Space Ritual?

Bag packed - check (why is it backpacks make me go way underweight and every other type of bag has me going overweight?) - checked in - check - erm, everything else? check I guess
Off to bed early as my plane leaves at way-to-early o'clock, luckily ANR has 10 min check in
There's a band involved? Feck. I thought I was just going to get hosed with this lousy lot.James Blast wrote:which is more than what the band'll do
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Just packed the bag for tomorrow, spent most of the time in my Sisters wardrobe deciding which shirts to take along.Eventually went with Jesus Loves The Sisters/Yellow Trip The Light/Exxile On Euphoria and my bootleg Rain From Heaven Leamington one.And a long sleeve Planet Edge, because, well,it's Leeds in February!

Packing also! Purple flowery and disturbingly leopard shirts are the order of the day. Likewise hideously early bus to Belfast airport and arrive in Leeds around ten tomorrow morning. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Two things I've discovered today...
1) I don't own a Hawaiian/OTT shirt.
2) Yeadon near Leeds in crap for buying Hawaiian/OTT shirts.
Roll on tomorrow... I'm actually excited about seeing them for the first time since the Smoke and Mirrors tour!

25 hours until the girls hit the stage. Looking forward to it. If it's half as good as Leamington, we're in for a treat!

Thanks for the offer but I'm in the opposite direction - Scotland.Swinnow wrote:Stu, where u live? Travelling up home from Bristol to Leeds for the gig on Wed, can give a lift and a sofa plus travel back on Thurs if that's the direction?
Again, it's a very kind offer and thank you but apart from still having to get there, I'd feel really awkward about taking up bedspace with someone I don't really know. I'm sure you'd be very welcoming but I'm just not good in that sort of situation. But again, thanks for your generous offer.Norman Hunter wrote: Dude, there's a spare bed at Hunter Towers?

Arriving in Leeds @ 3pm, heading straight to Travelodge to drop off stuff, then will probably head to the Dry Dock (probably get there by 5pm/6pm after faffing around at hotel, grabbing a sandwich etc).
