No time to cry replaced by Will I dream = Time to cry. Watched the movie whilst the sisters did their Saturday job :)

Well, if we substited Pipeline for Top nite out, drop off more and replace gift that shine for on the wire/tearchers , i'm pretty sure that 'll be the same setlist from 2006 (bites the silver bullet tour i guess)(ah and ignoring the fact that lucretia it's now the firts song)

There's still another night; if Leeds was anything to go by there will be a substantially different set tomorrow and all these songs will be played. I'd say that we won't see a standard setlist until they get to the one-off shows.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Yes we can't blame them. And they did their best even by already giving away the free postcards from the upcoming limited cd ;D ;D ;D
All in advance for you, pesky kids

I liked the gig, although it had ups and downs in vibe. Andrew had IMO trouble singing durung the whole evening. He also spent quite some time on the very right of the stage, staying out of the spotlights. And there were som technical difficulties, but overall I had a great evening! But without analyzing it to death it was WAAHOO!!!

agreed.

apparently they were looking to do as many two-night gigs in each town as they could (they were trying really hard to squeeze in an extra berlin date too), presumably in order to perform as many different songs as they could for everyone :von:

Good show but not exceptional.

Voice sound very very good at the beginning, but Von lost it during the gig :(

never saw him move so much (rigth, middle, left, right, left ...) it's a good surprise.

Good set list without very big surprise

love the postcard but the merch was ... "bof"

smoke (of course) but not too much

I miss the bass live :(

Changed my mind on this ...
so far I don't know any version that really brought it across,
but there is a lot of potential in it, very fine and light, and the
combination of these lyrics with the voice and the music is - a gift ...

Now that I can see it this way, I might even say, it's a typical great Sisters song ...

But I wouldn't want to tell. I'm sure there are plenty more layers than
what I can see now. Things always show with time.

hah, vids ... thanks, Rafal ... :D

Exactly.

At first I sat myself in one of the seats on the balcony to have a good look at things. I must say I liked those filmic delights and the new stage set-up looks better than before. This promised to be a good one!

They started with a bang: Lucretia was very in your face and a great opener. Sound was amazing and LOUD! Lights were fantastic...
But after a while the setlist got kinda dull. I thought the choice of songs wasn't the best (too much 'new' songs, too little oldies), but me sitting in a comfy seat maybe didn't help either, so I went downstairs and started around the soundboard and worked myself forward. Sound very good, lots of people dancing... was nice :D
Never Land was a highlight for me. Got me back in 'the zone' too 8)
The encores were great. Pipeline is just perfect and I'm glad they ditched TNO for it. And with Vision Thing it ended with a bang, a big one at that...

So the beginning and ending was fantastic, but the gig missed some unexpected things and most of all, some more oldies (Logic, No Time To Cry etc) in favour of the 'newer' songs.
Good thing they do 2 days, so I'll probably get my share tonight 8)

show was ok but not a blast. Von's voice started very promising but after 3 songs he already had troubles. He also forgot some lyrics If I'm not mistaken? Please replace Will I dream, Anaconda and detonation boulevard
for no time to cry, logic and on the wire and should have been nice. For me personally this gig was a dissapointment. Ah what the heck: Enjoy tonight!

@ Bartek

Tell me in what setlist you find such versions of Giving Ground, Susanne or Alice ...

first: as :von: said this tour is for them - not fans, ergo they'll play songs what they want.
second: that was about play this instead this song(s) whining

and btw. in 2006 and probably even 2009 these songs were in setlist.

Never thought to see a giant glitterbal in front of the stage & 70ies space boobies projected during a sisters concert ....

It's finally time to drop Giving Ground from the set (and of course Will I dream and Anaconda, but that's too obvious). I think it is (was) a great live song, but it has to be sung with full force, like back around 1997-2000, otherwise it doesn't have this feeling of rolling power waves it had back then.

And keep the pure electronic intro to More, like Leeds 16.2!

Otherwise it looks fine to me.

ahh, the glitterball made it to belgium then?

that's good - wasn't sure if it came with the band or with the leeds met.

loved the way the million points of lights reflected off it in leeds 8) :notworthy:

maybe great expectations mess a little in first brussels night but now it's time for "real killer one" with relaxed people and band
