Give Anaconda another listen then...Sita wrote:As I said, i was completely surprised by Pipeline, would never expect The Sisters do something like that. I was thinking "either my hearing is gone and I am imagining, or they are playing a surf tune"

pipeline - didn't like it the first couple of times (didn't even recognise it as the pipeline, tbh ), love it now.
gift that shines - nice enough track, but i found it lacking in the entertainment department that usually characterises the covers.
john, i'm only dancing - RESPECT!!!!
careless whisper - now that would be something

C'mon, nice as plenty of Sisters covers are (and admittedly their 'John - I'm Only Dancing' is fantastic), are we really gonna start pitching ideas for more, when we could be working on solving the as-yet uncracked puzzle cube of how to elicit new Sis songs? Are we not men? (or women, if you happen to be a woman - you know what I mean).
Goddam Sisters! Should come with a government health warning - "More Addictive Than Crack"!

Oh, jeeziz...strange that there are no Modern Talking covers! In the middle of the 90's, In the guestbook of the official Modern Talking site, I saw a positive message written in a serious manner and the author of the message was someone called Andrew Eldritch. I believe that was real AE. PS "Confide In Me" was OK imho..Bartek wrote:Andrew wrote: will shake his tailfeather at

Pipeline's just spot on, especially now with 'the dance'
Am very curious to see what the Lux & Paris gigs might bring in the covers department...

Yes Mr. Chairman.
I like covers. Other comments for some other thread.

Lord, what can the harvest hope for, if not for the care of the reaper man.
Well, technically speaking, almost all of the set list is covers isn't it?

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
