Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
On a Samsung i5500 - so yes, like an iPhone but you don't have to wear skinny jeans, have a stupid haircut, carry a skateboard or have a w@nk to Steve Jobs' grinning mug to use it

If you install the Android SDK on your PC/Mac/Linux Box then you can view your site in an Android "Virtual Device" (at any defined screen-size/resolution etc). Obviously you wouldn't be able to test any touch-screen functionality, but visual layout and basic functionality can be tested.
Android is currently the biggest single smartphone OS (it overtook Apple's iOS some months ago).
Additionally the android browser is based on WebKit (same core software as Safari), so if a site displays correctly in the Android SDK browser then chances are that it'll display the same on any overpriced phone/tablet that has an "i" prefix.

Ah, cool, might give that a try... I'm all a bit new in this, but we got ourselves a new web-guru, who's also building our new Wordpress CMS style website as you might have spotted and he recommended this Winksite thingy.
I was loving my 4.0 experience until I tried to watch video on Vimeo. Epic fail.
Seems to be just that site which is a shame as it's the best site for HD vids avoiding the crap that mounts up on other well known tubes....er.....sites.

When asked to input the 4th, 6th and 7th letters of a password, I promptly entered the 5th, 7th and 8th. Then I did it again. It was only when it was rejected the second time that I actually stopped and thought about what I was doing - and had to count the letters out on my fingers.
0-based arrays do this to you.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Oddly enough, that's also the exact way my yonks old Samsung Jet displays & controls pics. The phone is older than Methuselah's dad and clunkier than Robbie the Robot so it's good to see it did something right
