Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

thanks in advance
I like Format Factory - rip DVD files to AVI, MPEG, rip the audio off, whatever you like. You'll want to rip the DVD to the HD first, though - use DVD Decrypter for that.
this seems to work great thanks. as does handbrake, so now i have a spare

Oh, the prog I use to make those contract sheets is ImageGrabber II (v1 had a fault where it sometimes chose multiple copies of the same image and you weren't able to edit them). http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W5TM9YRD
First to set it up, go to options. For columns I'd suggest 4. Width 200, height 150. But this only has to be done once, once you're happy with how it looks you can leave it alone.
Open your file in it, then click the 4th icon that looks like a little TV screen and type how many photos you want it to select. Choose more than you actually need, because there'll be some rubbish ones. Look at the images and rightclick & delete any that you don't want. Then save your image.
