I wanted to ask: if he knew that people sitting at the table were for diferent parts of Europe? And if yes, did :von: was supprised at all ?
Hope is clear now.
not a problem! yes he did know we were from different parts of the world, got a feeling he recognised Andrew S & _emma_ which is not such a surprise as they stand in the front row at all the gigs. but i wouldn't say he was surprised, i think he knows he has fans from all over that follow them.

Thanks again MadameButterfly for sharing that great insight.

A friend of mine form the New Model Army forum told me that when Von organised the fundraiser concert for St Pauli, he came on stage and gave the New Model Army fans a crate of beer from the rider. My friend also spoke to him before the concert & said that he really is down to earth & quite shy and very polite.

I really wouldn't know what to say to him if I ever met him apart from "Thanks for 30 years of great music"
And I ride down the Highway 101
By the side of the ocean, headed for Sunset

you are most welcome! good story about your friend too. so many people said to me they wouldn't no what to say, but i guess if you don't act like a madman/woman fan and take the conversation as it comes, it rolls like that. i had also read about him being shy, was even told that, but Belgium makes him feel good obviously.

Taking over is one thing, singing lead vocals in Andrew's place is entirely another. Did he mention who might do that when he does decide to retire?

 sorry Prescott, but in taking over, i was meaning the organizing of gigs & that kind of business management within the band. Andrew is not planning on retiring any time soon & when he does, then i should think it would then be the end of TSOM. so no we didn't discuss far off future plans.

So finally I got my website updated.

Please take a look and enjoy !

http://gigs.mydominionnl.com/crammerock ... r2011.html

I did have a great time at Crammerock Popfestival.
Everything was there .... nice company on the road to Stekene and also a great helping hand with helping out from the parking to the camping site ... Thank you Madame :-)

Further on there was The Sun
Making it 2 beautiful days (even got sun burned).

Pleased to have met a lot of you Madhouse Heartlanders
It was a good time !

I did also stay for the Saturday and it was great to see the gig of K'choice and after that one it was time for Echo & The Bunnymen.
I realy like their show .... there they were the goodies from the past ... Bring on The Dancing Horses, The Cutter, Lips like suger, The Killing Moon
It was great !

I have been driving back to The Netherlands after the concert of Echo
Along the way home the rain was falling down so it was a good desision to go home just in time.

Hopefully to see a lot of you in the concert in the Netherlands 2 and 3 December 2011
