Anyone still loking for accomodation for the gig, we've booked a room at this place and they still have some rooms left, £89 inc breakfast and only, according to Google, 32 seconds walking to the Roundhouse.

£39.
Ah I see you already said, that'll teach me to ask questions whilst falling asleep. Seeing as Im up in Glasgow it'll probably cost me a many times that......ach it'll be worth it.
ill check that out as well thanks, Ive been mostly looking into train fares but if it was cheaper flying down id do that, no way Im getting the megabus down. Done that too many times back and fourth from Manchester.

probably they left 2/3 of the tickets for window selling before gig. must be it.
I dunno man, I reckon they've probably had a massive surge in popularity lately, what with playing sonisphere, and the whole joy division revival thing has probably caught up to not-very-related bands like the sisters by now.
Seriously though, anyone got a couple of spare tickets to sell me? Or even just one?
Also are you kidding about the window selling or not? Because if you're not I'll travel to london anyway and take my chances.

All tickets sold, as I said before Sonisphere has helped raise the band profile, a great venue has shifted more tickets and lastly it is an anniversary so some will go in the hope of something special e.g. rarely played tracks etc.
The Roundhouse is probably the best venue under 5000 capacity in London, the beer is good, plenty of bars inside, outside smoking area, easy to get to, sound is superb and it is an iconic venue. Lastly it is run as a charity so buying tickets is cheaper directly from them.

Booked the Kings Cross Travelodge!
And my pink vintage 50s dress that I plan to wear for the gig came in the mail. If you see a walking strawberry, say hi to me
..and it seems the Damned are playing The Roundhouse the night before. Anyone considering that as well?
I hear her cry all day, all night
I hear her voice from deep within the wall
Made a cross from knitting needles
Made a grave from hoover bags
Especially for the woman in the wall
