Just went to see the Kerouac scroll of On the Road at the British library and then went to see the film of the same.

The film makes a bit more sense if you've read the book. The film wasn't terrible, but you have to be in the mood for it as it is a bit slow paced at times. Viggo Mortensen made a great Old Bull (Burroughs).

In parts harrowing and frightening, the film tells the tale of a marine wounded in combat and follows his return to life at home.

We've been watching the Ken Russel-directed TV miniseries of Lady Chatterley. It's laughably bad.

Although you do have Joely Richardson wandering around in the nip, which is nice

Yep, recommended when you like Shaun of the Dead, Snatch, even Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction come to mind...

Not the next culthit, but highly entertaining I think!

This was an amazing movie to make and it is an amazing movie to watch. One of the best british horror movies of the decade. Plenty of laughs along the way. This movie will have you in stitches.
