Heartland came up on random play on me mp3 the other night, not heard it for years and realised again that I love that song. Question is years ago I had a version on tape that I preferred to the Temple version, all I can say is that it had a few 'beeps' or something before it started I guess it was a demo or session track but what from? Any ideas?
Can you post a sample?

maybe the version from the kid jensen session?
Maybe the audio from the promo video, the beeps being during the countdown clock that precedes it?DOZMEISTER wrote:Heartland came up on random play on me mp3 the other night, not heard it for years and realised again that I love that song. (It was common in the 80's & 90's for many music videos to feature a different mix to the single they were promoting, the vocals often mixed louder for example).
Well, none that we know of.

Sounds like how I would describe the kids jensen version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5qZh-kXv3cDOZMEISTER wrote: all I can say is that it had a few 'beeps' or something before it started I guess it was a demo or session track but what from? Any ideas?

well yes, but the video was shelved, seeing as it was quite quite boring. there is a limit to what you can do on a rainy day in Leeds with £250, some speed and a couple of ladies of ill repute
kid jenson - digital version is best; though i do have an original unedited version of the session, which runs at the correct speed

A limit, yes. But I would think that something of use could be created out of those elements and budget?paint it black wrote:well yes, but the video was shelved, seeing as it was quite quite boring. there is a limit to what you can do on a rainy day in Leeds with £250, some speed and a couple of ladies of ill repute

Yes I am pretty sure it is the Kid Jenson session version I am thinking of thanks for the help. I never think of using Youtube to search for audio only tunes, must get into the habit of doing so.

Kid Jensen version is very trashy and very awesome. I wish they had recorded that version. I do like the one that's got a release, though.
Only the Americans could have built a place like this in the middle of a jungle.
