I saw a post on here from someone saying that and co would be active in April and with their festival appearance at Sonisphere being announced what's the possibility of a UK tour as their appearance (as far as I'm aware) is not any kind of exclusive although I can imagine they're festival exclusives.

Well...
Chris' Eureka Machines gigs finish at the end of March: http://www.eurekamachines.com/new/gigs/
As do Ben's NxN gigs: http://nxnofficial.com/?page_id=10
So the band's calendars looks open...
Although it definitely looks like Si wont be involved (which we already kind knew, but if TheSisters do play in April it seems it definitely wont be with Si)

I'ts almost februari. I doubt any tour of any kind will take place before Sonisphere. But PLEASE prove me wrong!
Have to agree with that.DerekR wrote:The Violets are a FAR superior live experience.aims wrote:Ack, skimmed that post and thought the Sisters were playing York. I can dream

The Violets are wonderful. In addition, they play Chicago on 26th APRIL 2014 ... which makes me somewhat agree to
... yeah, and possibly in the US ... ...Rise891 wrote:My money is on the month of May

Surely Sonisphere will have wanted them on an exclusive UK deal which would mean no more UK gigs announced until early July or the festival is sold out.
USA is overdue a visit but costly if the right gigs aren't available and I get the impression that by choosing another festival is looking to make money not lose it.

I won't do Sonisphere either. I checked the costs for a weekend trip and the hotel packages they're offering (I'm not into that camping stuff anymore) are just way too expensive for me. So, I hope there may be some concerts in continental Europe. Going to the US - just for one or two gigs (if the venues aren't close to another) - is not an option for me as this would be too expensive as well. Somehow sad, but I hadn't expected anything better for 2014 ...

Have been thinking about why Von is so fond of festivals these days. Main advantages would seem to include : play to as many in a day as you can in a week of touring ; no need to hire a PA ; no need to promote ; fee guaranteed regardless of ticket sales. I can understand how touring must be losing its lustre.

somehow i don't really like the idea of festivals(less songs, lots of zombies etc.)but i guess this is nowadays reality.Would be great if there are a few dates as a standalone performance.Sonisphere is still an option but i would probably go to another if there are some other dates announced.good point,Nikolas

Possibly, but I doubt it,the Sisters aren't that big a deal, and the last time they played Sonisphere they played Glasgow the night before.Nikolas Vitus Lagartija wrote:Surely Sonisphere will have wanted them on an exclusive UK deal which would mean no more UK gigs announced until early July or the festival is sold out.

As tickets would seem to be on sale for both venues they would seem to be genuine, but there must be a reason why the official site still doesn't have them listed (other than the usual CBA). Perhaps there are more dates in Central Europe to come ? Bavaria ? Czech Republic ? Lichtenstein ??Brunilde wrote:doulfe wrote:Me too... at X-TRA, Zurich, 21st of May.
