The venue seems equally proud of announcing a forthcoming appearance by The Hot Pants Road Club. As if being upstaged by Chas'n'Dave wasn't bad enough.

Where are the updates? Mrs. M nearly put a fork through my eye when at lunch I remarked if we leave now we can make the gig!

From Facebook, apparently it was amazing. Setlist is equal to Dresden minus Something Fast.

I'm still learning german, but this was posted on Poison-Door:
Andreas schrieb gerade, der Sound wäre noch besser als in Dresden gewesen, Setliständerungen gab es wohl nicht...

I guess it's says the sound was better than in Dresden, but no changes on setlist, anyone can confirm this?

I was there.

The setlist:

More
Ribbons
When You Don't See Me
Blood Money
Alice
Crash And Burn
Gif That Shines
Rock And The Hard Place
Still
Amphetamine Logic
Arms
Dominion
Valentine
Flood II
This Corrosion

Encore 1:
Kiss The Carped
Lucretia My Reflection
Vision Thing

Encore 2:
First And Last And Always
Misirlou
Temple Of Love

I think it was full house. People were sitting on the balcony too. The support band was very good...for me a pleasant surprise. We saw Ben before the gig, he was jogging. :) I was perfectly satisfied with the sound. Von was in a good mood. He's cigaret was not e-cig, it was real. But he never finishes them just starts. He threw unlit cigarettes in the audience twice while smiling. ;D I think we made a good audience and the band had a good time too. I made some vids, I'll post them later.

This pic wasn't taken in Linz. He wore a black t-shirt under the other shirt.

No problem, not your fault. The one who posted that pic wasn't at the gig but I was.

The upload awfully slow here. So I'll upload my vids at home tomorrow.
Till then here is a screenshot from Valentine.

I thought the audience in Linz was apparently not used (not surprisingly so though) to the Sisters experience we cherish so much, e.g. no full visibility, low to inaudible vocals, strange songs and versions.
:-)

It was great of course.
Some songs were extremely mumbled, even more than on previous tours.
Nearly inaudible in mumble and echo/reverb, like Flood, Lucretia, FALAA, Temple of Love.
I like the angry mumble grumble he used often tonight!

Valentine and especially Kiss the Carpet fantastic.

Sadly no Something Fast and Marian (which I'd prefer over any Flood).
Let's hope for Vienna.

And where is 'Heartland'?
As far as I remember that was played last time in 90ies Vision Thing tour, or??

Great to have a couple of reviews already, thanks a lot :notworthy:

It was *full* there!? Biggest surprise this far on the tour then, or is the venue very small?
