Further looking through my eighties goff / punk records I found the only album of a really great band which was the offspring for inter alia Cancer Barrack and Grils Under Glass. Go to Youtube and enjoy

Calling Dead Red Roses - Creeping Death :notworthy:

BTW, in the late eighties / early nineties their song One Way Ticket was jugded to be (one of) the most depressive song(s) ever

Ooh yeah.. Calling Dead Roses' homonym track and Grey in grey by the Girls undr glass... Sweet memories... Although i was not depressed really!! ( I'm afraid I was not a real goth) I think these songs deserve one night out in mesh gloves and backcomed hair. :roll:

The famous German "slow goth" band ! Were CDRR the first Sisters copyists ? Definitely some Play Dead in there too.
I loved all that European cold wave stuff, and one of my favourites were the Danse Society influenced Mary Goes Round from France :

Ghost - Opus Eponymous

they remind me everything that is and was good and cool in Swedish metal, mix of Merciful Fate/Kind Diamonad, classic 80's metal and that specific type of humor, kinda like Snowy Shaw practiced with Notre Dame. :notworthy:

The fairly cracking Amsterdam 2014 recording - again. One of the best (if not the best) sounding live recordings of recent times. :D :notworthy:

Not often will I slag off other people's music tastes but my work colleague has this repetitive dub/trance/garagew*nk bullsh*t playing at work and it's making me want to shove sharp objects into various parts of his body. Arghhhh. :urff:

Ian sings LWTUA and Ceremony. And that makes me cry.

They sound like an energetic post/punk band who will conquer the world.

Everything played live is well faster than (pre/post albums).

Slightly overwhelmed at all that could have been. :cry: :notworthy: :von:
