THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.
Would be a good time for that perfect Anniversary Edition of the album we've all always wanted. You know, 3 discs...complete set of bonus tracks (including Body And Soul EP in full) on disc 2, and a fully restored DVD of Wake on the 3rd disc.

that all in a great box in a size of a vinyl:
disc one : the album
disc two : b-sides and body & soul ep
disc three :demos and outakes
disc four :wake dvd incl. the missing tracks
and the book.
PLUS car stickers, patch, badges and 30 years anniversary shirt ... ...
Well, and of course a lighter ... or maybe another tea towel & mug set ... and ... ...
But joking aside, 30 Years First And Last And Always ... a record like there never had been one before ... ...
We should add a disk devoted to various remixes of The Best Song In The World.

Thanks for reminding us of the anniversary, @MH, and for the cool tour ad, @spiggymr7. And it seems like thirty years of a feeling of slightly underwhelming anticlimax. Still the best of the three albums though.
