Newsworthy continued: EEEEEEEENINp'ts!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Wait, am I reading this correctly? The firm simply told their employees to stay home and then bulldozed the pub? What the hell?

Yeah. Nice eh?
Interesting inventory huh? Hope they counted all the bricks.
If you look at some of the pics of the wreckage, they didn't even take the pictures off the walls. In a hurry much?

I've always heard stories of what a nice guy he is.
I reckon he probably was apologetic but it wouldn't make such a good story.

If they got a lighting spec & they met that spec I don't see what the problem is really.
They're all on dimmers anyway, so they only need to crank them up a little bit

Pretty much what I was thinking. Seems more like a petulant strop than anything else.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

is it just me, or do headlines like "Devious Bog-trotter Violently Murdered My Lovely Old Grandpa Says Will-&-Kate's Daddy" seem extremely potentially inflammatory considering the political wound-healing exercise they are referring to?

Ummm - wow. Is that actually for real? Fortunately most of us can see through that kinda crap (unfortunately a few can't).

Well, that's certainly the subtext that the Daily Fail would use. And may not be wide of the mark, given the comments that Will-and-Kate's "lovely old grandpa" has been known to make about Russians.

pissing myself laughing..if you lot are half prepared to believe my exaggerated-to-make-a-point version of news/newspapers headlines what does that say about our media?
but the messsage is about the same. and it was all "brutally murdered the prince's surrogate grandad"... well i'm half irish and ira sympathy wasnt just a postcode lottery- i've relatives in the "war cemetaries" who were murdered by the prince's mummy's army, but saying that out loud isnt going to heal any "wounds", now is it?

If Eldritch had turned up at my wedding it would have been a very short marriage indeed!
