Went to this venue t'other week to see some other Goff band from Leeds and in the thirty plus years I've been going to gigs it's the only time I have ever had to walk through an airport style metal detector to gain entry.

I saw Eagles of Death Metal there nine days before the incident at the Bataclan, and another band a couple of weeks after. The latter was the first gig I'd ever been to there where they used them. But I think they were used for club nights before that.
Will be at the Bristol gig next week, it's my local!
Anyone have any ideas or be willing to ride share?
I don't see any late trains, but I'm hoping to wake up in London on 24/11 since I fly back to California on 25/11 and want a day there.
Happy to pay for gas if anyone has a spare seat. Drop me at any tube station!
Really enjoyed that. Yep, he did take a tumble... I overheard a security bloke afterwards saying he slipped on the dry ice. Is that a thing? Does it make the stage wet?

Yeah, and "freak out, allround" ... ...

It can become very slippery when it's a water-glycol-mixture ... especially when the liquid is spilled over the floor ...
oh hell. I keep all fingers crossed for that he wakes up tomorrow without any painful injuries ...
