Those pink wafer things. In fact all wafers. Pretend biscuits, that's what they are.Charlie wrote:Ok what about worst biscuits - my mum has been known to eat Shapes dog biscuits when the cupboards are bare

Defo not a fan of the fig roll, my Nan always had them when we were little, probably 'cos she knew that me and our kid wouldn't scoff them.
....if I have to explain, then you'll never understand....
Agreed on the wafers - and they also come with extreme danger of choking if you breathe in at the wrong moment.Pista wrote:Those pink wafer things. In fact all wafers. Plus they are useless for dunking. You only need to get them in the steam coming off a cuppa & they are mush in an instant.Charlie wrote: Agreed on the wafers - and they also come with extreme danger of choking if you breathe in at the wrong moment.

I am fond of pink wafers... Mainly because, as a fourteen year old, I used them to spell out "FUCK YOU" on the tea table at a church fête. (My grandmother stopped making me help at such events after that.)

Fourteen-year old me was a pain in the proverbial. Thirty-eight year old me is... well, much the same.Swinnow wrote:Good grief, this place is turning into a wight wabble of wowdy webels nowadays.
(Served them right for serving such mediocre refreshments though.)

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
Okay. New keyboard to be sent to........mh wrote:Pista wrote:& in breaking biscuit news. The chocolate on McVities' biscuits is....*drum roll please*......on the bottom
As it happens, I did. Otherwise you'd end up with melted chocolate all over your thumb.markfiend wrote:Who ever thought that the chocolate was on top?
I must have missed that episode of "How It's Made" on Discovery Science.
