Just requested time off work. If I get it I'm doing this!

Can anyone recommend a good hotel? I can see there's an Ibis close to the venue. I don't want to pay through the roof. Ta.

Viel Spaß im Docks...
Have a great time and enjoy the show everybody !

Einstein: Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.
Really quickly: Saw the discussion elsewhere, but Yes Marianne. Because 2017, probably. Walk away so no possession. Alice. No Romeo down. No body electric, yes body and soul. I was trying to get a pic of a set list but the barrier folks told me a story I didn't understand and seemed to expect me to go. So I did.
Feedback issues were a problem. Approximate quote: "I'd like to stand right here (the areas where one would stand to perform) but it is all feedback." Looked frustrating. Got better at revolver, which was good, but returned. Sometimes feedback, then the mic just went quiet as it was adjusted. Mother Russia was great. Smaller venue, smaller set of mirrors. Still looked cool and ben has got refraction down to a science. Very neat.
And I love Hamburg. It feels like a good place to be.
I hope someone else can report in Sweden!

Meant that to be just a quick set-list report from my phone. Glad someone got the actual list loaded! To be clear, the general consensus is that this was the best performance yet and I don't think most people even noticed any technical issues so maybe its just me. The toughest critics I know were very pleased and a good time was had by pretty much everyone I talked to.
Body and Soul was near perfect and Marian and Arms were also in top form. The crowd was receptive and energetic.
The venue itself is club-style and funky. Virtually every other thought I have about Hamburg is "reminds me of San Francisco" so I won't tiresomely repeat that! I'll simply add this to the list of places where I could live. (Joins Liverpool, Portland and Roatan, Honduras which makes the rest seem dead and processed but I bet they don't get much live music...)
Overall, very well-received and a big success. Great pictures out there, too!

I love the Hamburg harbour ... looking out seaways from there really gives the impression of being at the "Gate to the World" ... all wideness, stream, silence and often a soft wind ... *sigh ...
Is there a link available to the pictures from the gig? I'd love to see them ... ...
Yes, like a great gate. Reminds me of... not going there.Being645 wrote:Thank you for the further review ... ...Chaotican wrote:[...]
