THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

This. It always seemed to feel watered down to me.
The original is a short sharp shock by comparison
it's badly done as well. in fairness in those days extended remixes of shorter songs (rather than longer versions a la TOL 12">7") were often badly done cut and paste jobs, but still..... for sure it didnt deserve its own B-side ressurection, but its valid for a) filling a flexi rarity an artifact with limited use and b) being called the "amphetamix".

But You Could Be The One is a serious reason to have the single! No doubt about that

I have to admit I've always liked it - partly because I heard "Long Train" on a bootleg before I'd ever heard the original "Train," I think, and partly because it was long, so i didn't have to start it over constantly. I liked driving around at night listening to that on repeat.

I'm hung over. And this makes me mad. Heartland. Marian. Really? Grgrgr.

Why are so many peeps hating MORE? The lyrics are quintessential Eldritch. Probably the only song, where he is 100% himself.
Me? I dont like 1959. Dull & pathetic.
and ... errr... train...

I like the opening of "More", but the shrill vocals in the chorus irritate me. I don't like the current live version either.
how can you not like Untitled? one of the most atmospheric, moving pieces of music ever. and basically Dominion slowed down with no vocals. Ozymandias is just annoying though i'll give you that.
