Re-run of currently watching

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

ok so it took me a while to get hold of it but i just watched Last Jedi and it was f**king amazing. worth the 40 year wait without a doubt. in fact ive forgiven the franchise for the phantom menace et al - a PROPER star wars film. ii'm almosttempted to say the best but definitely the 3rd best. wow wow and f**king wow. 8) :notworthy:
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.

Ah, most of your quotes I really like but here I can´t agree;-) The Phantom menace was indeed the only acceptable outside the originals. But to be honest The last Jedi would be good with just Luke in it, then it could even be an enlightened movie (Ok Disney). But of course I loved the scene with Chewie when he decided not to eat the meat.

of course you are entitled to your opinion but the one regarding the phantom menace is rare to say the least, being to most fans the worst of the whole franchise. unless you are of a younger age perhaps? my 12 year old also considers of the phantom menace as being worthy; but it was probably the first one he watched.

I know I shouldn´t really reply, but the attacked ego (filled again with coffee) wants to answer: Come on, I was just writing for fun in my spare time with lots of coffein to pump a little the forum and you take this so seriously? A common phenomena, an opposite view and immediately a personal attack follows.

For me only the 3 originals count anyway and to your disbelief I liked the phantom menace (well parts), of course still in relativity to the others. I always thought the 3rd one was the most hated? However....

Ah, the old Star Wars discussion ;)
I wouldn't take it to heart An. SW is possibly (outside of politics) the most divisive subject known to humankind.
The threads usually get a bit lively

i'm not sure which bit you took as an attack but i promise there was no attack intended, personal or otherwise. i'm sorry if thats how it came across.

i really wasn't being too serious either, just carrying on the discussion, and i simply meant that i could understand the phantom menace not being as odious to someone if -for example- they had watched the series in it's own timeline rather than the order in which they were released. like i said, my son has that opinion and i certainly wasnt being derogatory about him. hope that clears up any misunderstanding. 8)

She's worth following on social media if you're that way inclined
