we have our moments at being terrible. It's like teaching. sometimes the buggers just won't do what they're supposed to do... luck plays a big part too. can't legislate for half your team injuring itself in the last 24 hours before a GW. at least the transfer window is mostly shut now.
but yes, a lot of us are terrible :p

GW2 over already! And a fairly high scoring week whilst most players are fresh, in RL or FPL. The average score overall was 60, with one extremely astute manager out there scoring 153. Only the usual captain’s double for Aguëro there, but they had played their bench boost. As their bench had scored 33, more than some scored with their first 11. Not bad at all.

Let’s have a look at the scores on the doors:

Cardiff 0 - 0 Newcastle - It wasn’t without incident. Hayden was off in the second half but After could have gone as well. Kenedy missed a penalty and had the dubious honour of not completing any passes all game - the radio commentators wanted Shelvey to take the penalty ball off him and tell him to sit down out of the way. Goalie gets all the bonus points.

Everton 2 - 1 Southampton - Richarlison, Pickford and Walcott all shine for the Toffees, whilst the Saints pick up 5 bookings. Danny Ings opens his account - his move looks good for him so far. Worth a punt?

Leicester 2 - 0 Wolves An own goal early on really didn’t help Wolves. Vardy sent off -anyone got him? Maguire picking up yellows, one to keep an eye on.

Spurs 3 - 1 Fulham As called! Sessegnon is doing ok in the PL, Fabri made 8 saves, but Spurs did the job effectively. Kane’s August thing is thankfully broken, Trippier came back into the fold (though not off my bench) to score and Alli is on form. Squad players look a good bet.

West Ham 1 - 2 Bournemouth - The Hammers beaten again. They need to be careful already, and it’s only GW2. Arnautovic is their stand out player - the rest gained 6 yellows between them. They might need to play their Wildcard.

Chelsea 3 - 2 Arsenal - Well, there were signs of life. I looked round for a second and all of a sudden it was 2-2. Mkhitaryan, Cech and Alonso on top, though Pedro took the last bonus point. All a bit mid table.

Burnley 1 - 3 Watford - All wrong on this one! Sean Dyche wasn’t overly happy but Burnley are generally solid and should be ok. Deeney had the most effect but Tarkowski will bear watching.

Man City 6 - 1 Huddersfield - Complete dominance. Huddersfield probably glad to get that out of the way early on and will want to forget the own goal. Masterful from Aguëro, Mendy doing just fine. Hamer made 9 saves as well as the 5 City put past him. Busy busy! City now looking for a senior goalie after Bravo crocked himself. The champions steam on.

Brighton 3 - 2 Man Utd - Pogba didn’t get sent off and did score, but it wasn’t enough. Untidy look.. untidy.. and Brighton thoroughly deserved their win though the defence needs to pay attention. Gross a good choice for your team, I reckon. The board are behind JoMo, so Wenger should be in by the end of the month.

Crystal Palace 0 -2 Liverpool - Liverpool did win and look very very good. Palace were no pushover and opposition shouldn’t be complacent, but the Reds will with something this season. Salah on form, though he didn’t quite match Aguëro as his captain’s hoped. That’ll be a big battle this season.

So that’s the games in RL. What about us?

The table tells the story - Mish, TSOM and CC, in that order, for both GW and overall.
The Yellow Jersey and Big Shout Out still belong to Mav's Alisson's Big Gloves, after a stonking 97 points.
Mav sweeps the board with the H2H with a 100% record so deserves the pointy hat thing to go with the Jersey
and here's the table to back it up:
Ok everyone. Back on the Battle Bus. There's a Shed waiting for us!

Things are starting to get closer up top
Might have to pick out some Wet Spam guys this weekend. They have Arsenal after all
Right, best find the keys to the newly painted shed & get it bigger on the inside for the weekend
edit: GW3 is live
