The all new 'Who's Going Where and When' thread

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just bought tix for PiL @ the Black Cat here in DC in October.

We've also purchased tickets to see Einstürzende Neubauten in Bremen come November, but haven't booked our flights yet...

edit: goddam autocorrect.

Just CT, I'm not a fan of JHB and can't justify the 3000km round trip...

Either PiL in Asbury Park or The Feelies in Jersey City in October. They’re both on the 13th. Haven’t decided yet. Feelies are playing the music of The Velvet Underground, but PiL is at a bowling alley.

Is this worth a look - have an option to go and see here in Auckland.
Also, what about The Dead Kennedys (without Jello)?
Any thoughts?

Missed 'em in Baltimore last night, alas. Usually it's not until mid-October that the poor hygiene of college freshman hands me a fresh dose of influenza, but this year they got me in the first two weeks. Bastards.

I've heard bad things. Not seem 'em myself though.

Yeah, I thought I'd give it a miss - was asked to go with a friend. I'm fairly over going to too many 40th Anniversary type gigs - Undertones and SLF recently (both good, but still). Giving the Peter Murphy gig some consideration though.

Also got tickets to
Frank Turner in Nov
$uicide Boy$ in January

Might go to see 6lack as well - not really sure what seeing him live would be like - love his music but it's not really jump around stuff.

We've got approx 950 that are supposed to arrive this weekend (and another 200+ in January), almost all of whom originate from the Republic of China. Quite a large proportion have very questionable standards of hygiene (and that's both Genders). Our Student Services Team have this year been asked by Tutors to add Toothbrushes and Toothpaste to the 'Bathroom/Toilette' section of their Student Welcome Packs :urff: ;D

Also all the Teaching Staff, quite a No. of whom have young children that are now back at Nursery/School, are due to return next week. I think I should wear something like this for the next Month or so.....

Back off topic... The University of Leeds has 32000 students and 8000 staff. Holy infection vectors, Batman!
