Weird Sisters-like tee spotted...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Any thoughts on the lead guys' t-shirt? And can someone call Andrew to tell him he's ok for cash again after the court case? :)

mind boggles...
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

It's been a while since I took an interest in Sisters stuff, but if Von would sound like the singer from Yashira, well... I might take an interest again!

Who or what is/are "Rhythm of Fear"?

Apart from an awful metal band on Bandcamp...

Saw Gary Numan a few months ago and the support band (who were definitely influenced by the Sisters) used the Grey's Anatomy symbol on their album. No harm in wearing your influences on your sleeve I suppose as someone once said...

I’ve seen Mr Numan numerous times in recent years. The t shirt is for the band Nightmare Air. (the singer is GNs tour manager Dave Dupuis) I did point out to Dave the similarities when I chatted to him at the isle of man gig. He went away to check and when I saw him later he said “fuck. Not at all intentional.

That's mad! I mean, fair enough if someone else likes the design, but to copy it and use it for another band??? That's just stupid. I don't get why anyone would do that and not think people are going to find out they copied it.

EDIT: Wait, are they a tribute band?

But even if they are... even tribute bands change the logo up a bit and don't just rip it off!

^^this one is at worst 'similar'. although derived from the same original image they are not the same.

^^ this on the other hand is just blatant theft! total contravention of copyright law and utterly disrespectful! the bands lawyers need to be on the case.
