THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. (Allegedly), 1982, the Hacienda, Manchester - https://sisterswiki.org/Mon,_25-Oct-1982. Annoyingly, I got rid of my copy of Peter Hook's book 'How Not to Run a Club'. Pretty sure it had the complete listings of every show that went on there.

Definitely 1984, Hanley (one of the five towns that make up Stoke-on-Trent, and where - many years later - I got my Sisters album) - https://sisterswiki.org/Thu,_25-Oct-1984. The Wiki says this was not recorded, but Dark Circle Room (http://darkcircleroom4.blogspot.com/201 ... -hall.html) did have a copy available for download some years back. Grateful for any into on which is correct!

My copy of Guildford is only the first 45 minutes (presumably one side of a C90 cassette from 'back in the day'). Is this all that survives?

Only one show has actually happened in Sisters history on 12th November:

1984, Maxim Gorki in Stuttgart - https://sisterswiki.org/Mon,_12-Nov-1984. The bootleg looks good too, if you can ignore the missing 'The' and the ever-so-slightly wrong font. The show is a good one.

In 1990, the show at the Forum, Ludwigsburg was cancelled due to illness.

1990: Brielpoort, Deinze, Belgium - cancelled, but tickets were valid for the concert at Sportpaleis, Gent half a year later

2008: Royal Oak Music Theatre, Detroit, USA - part of the Ocean To Ocean Tour

2011: USF Verftet, Bergen, Norway - SISTERS XXX ... had loved to see this gig in that wonderful seaport city far up north ... but, there's no recording even ...
