GW20- Deadline Saturday 28th December 14.00

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well done to Steve for getting the GW stuff done!
Here we go with another one - last one of 2018. Never mind the New Year, we have the transfer window to look forward to. Plenty of fun speculation time before your team loses your favourite player for someone you've never heard of.

The Final Floorshow lineup:

Saturday 29 December

Brighton 15:00 Everton My hopes are on the Everton defence and midfield.
Fulham 15:00 Huddersfield Fulham might win one. Doing better but still need to get it together.
Leicester 15:00 Cardiff Leicester.
Spurs 15:00 Wolves 11 festive goals so far for Spurs. Don't want to do the family team down, but if we can get a lot nearer 20 I'd be happy
Watford 15:00 Newcastle Newcastle will stun us all!
Liverpool 17:30 Arsenal I have a feeling this will be pivotal

Sunday 30 December

Crystal Palace 12:00 Chelsea Can Palace keep Steve happy for nealry two whole weeks?
Burnley 14:15 West Ham Draw
Southampton 14:15 Man City I feel that the Saints will either deliver anpther smash to City or get smashed. Won't be boring!
Man Utd 16:30 Bournemouth Goalfest!

Well, we gotta do something to fill in the time between the foodfest and the drinkfest... All systems go!

Bit of a sleepy first half today.

Sometimes I just don't get Hodgson.
Max Meyer came on & Palace suddenly looked like they meant business.
He should have either started or come on for the second half
Cheers.

I suppose you expecting Arsenal to do Spurts a favour is a bit like me expecting Everton to make a game of it against the aforementioned Spurts.

Steve, we know your pain, we never got The Owl either.

Ok, dashing in before the next GW is here tomorrow. That doesn't end until Thursday but thankfully we can have a bit of a break for the FA Cup.
Let's see. Brighton and Fulham got their wins, though Kamara is not top banana with Ranieri for that penalty mishap. However, that doesn't excuse the nasty racism on social media. The club right behind Kamara on that score. Newcastle also managed a welcome point. Cardiff were not supposed to win but they did. Same for Wolves, dammit. I know every team has an off day, but I'd prefer it if mine didn't do it against the rest of the family's team. It makes my phone hurt.
It was not to be for Palace or Steve, but Liverpool just ran away with it. Bobby announced his return quite Firminoly. Aubameyang did not - 13 touches, and 6 of those from kickoffs. Emery also got fined for the bottle incident at Brighton, so not a great week. Burnley got a Christmas present against The Spammers - who incidentally have just this minute signed Nasri at the end of his ban.
Man City seem to have got over their blip, though the dropping of Sane didn't go down well in some quarters . Still, Aguero and the Silvas made a comeback. Hojbjerg managed to score for the Saints then get himself sent off.
Last but not least, Man Utd at home were not going to lose against Bournemouth, not the way they've sprung to life. Missy here bought Pogba and made him captain, so is well happy. I do like Solskjaer himself... My main man Ake scored for Bournemouth. A red for Bailly though.

A bit more of a scoring GW, thankfully. Here are the tables:

Image

BB&S won the week with IGM a creditable second. EIB waaaaay off in a big blip!

The Yellow Jersey is with Dead Men Walking

Image

The Big Shout out is for AFC Tigers with 94!

Image

in the H2H, IGM won by miles for a change

Image

The Crown rests rakishly on the bonce of Mish Mosh :D

That's all for this year, folks! Happy New Year from Me, Steve and Mav.
