GW26- Deadline Saturday 9th February 11.30 am

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Right. GW26 it is. Steve has done a lovely round up of GW25 and stuck it on the wall of the Shed with a bit of old chuddy. After an interesting week at the top, a cat and a bat, things are finely poised at all ends.

Saturday 09 February

Fulham 12:30 Man Utd Sky A few weeks ago, Fulham might have won this one, even so. Now, it could be embarassing. Olé does have to win sometime, though
Crystal Palace 15:00 West Ham Batshuayi will win
Huddersfield 15:00 Arsenal Anything could happen. Possibly.
Liverpool 15:00 Bournemouth Back to the top for Klopp, though the goal difference may take a hit which will prove important later.
Southampton 15:00 Cardiff I dunno. Not the Pick of the Week.
Watford 15:00 Everton Everton should win, but they are a law unto themselves lately.
Brighton 17:30 Burnley BT SportNah. Not one I'll go out of my way to watch. I have housework to do sometimes.

Sunday 10 February

Spurs 13:30 Leicester Sky Tasty. And important. Can Son keep holding up the team?
Man City 16:00 Chelsea Sky A sea of blues, intertwined to give a picture of dazzling, glittering moments of movement. Higuain is instant impact for Chelsea already.

Monday 11 February

Wolves 20:00 Newcastle Sky Now then. I reckon this will be one of the humdingers this week.

No double games this week.

IGM, GO AND PLAY YOUR WILDCARDS please and thank you.

Clearly, the biggest game is on Sky, 12.30 Sunday, Norwich v Ipswich. Top v bottom.

Sadly it's now confirmed that the body found in the plane at the bottom of the channel was Sala's.
Shouldn't be a massive surprise, but still. :(
I also see Nantes are staying classy
Cheers.

Played my wildcard last week Boss, having recognised the need for a bit of a shake-up. Unsurprisingly the mob I shipped in did nowt and the mob I shipped out had blinders. Twas ever thus, especially when half the mob you ship in are city.

Excellent. If you tried, you tried!

Yes. Nantes. Completely unnecessary thing to do.
Cardiff do the right thing and offer to pay for Sala to be flown home.

Thoughts please for Brazilian side Flamengo - not officially confirmed but looks like their junior players' dormitory destroyed by fire. 10 dead and 3 teenagers in hospital.

So I played my wildcard, did my best to bring in a load of on-form players, including Man U's Victor Lindelöf... who then didn't play.

Okay. I made The Cassette my skipper this week. Figured playing Uddersfield he'd have a hat full compared to Aguero against Chelski.
& now see what happens

Wow that is what you call a thumping. It must a be a long time since Chelski were humiliated that badly.

It was a bit of a shock. I expected a much closer game but Chelski were so bad it was embarrassing.

& Newcastle finally get the visa sorted for Almirón.....& stick him on the bench.
Cheers.

Righty-oh. The last few days have been far too exciting in too many ways to mention. Hard to believe that the last GW was that long ago!

Fulham 0 - 3 Man Utd Pogba and Martial the main men, sinking Fulham with ease. Martial is now injured, though. Pogba is a very different player these days.
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 West Ham Even Stevens in the London melée. Zaha got stuck in, but later in the week did it a bit too enthusiastically. Oops.
Huddersfield 1 - 2 Arsenal Not much of a surprise all round. Lacazette scoring, but again this week he's let himself down, the club down...

Liverpool 3 - 0 Bournemouth All good for Liverpool, though another from Salah would have been good for me.
Southampton 1 - 2 Cardiff That Bamba's quite a character, innit?
Watford 1 - 0 Everton zzzzzzz
Brighton 1 - 3 Burnley More of my subs bench scoring. Poop.
Spurs 3 - 1 Leicester Great result for Spurs again with Son leading the way. Not perhaps the greatest idea bringing Vardy on to take the penalty cold, as he missed, but he did get one later.
Man City 6 - 0 Chelsea Aguero hat trick! Sterling double! Gundogan appears! Blimey. Sarri is in the doodoo, as they prepare to face each other again in the Milk Cup, or whatever it's called this year. Most entertaining.
Wolves 1 - 1 Newcastle Both sides got away with it, with that result.

There are quite a few with knocks, so check and check again. Kane may well get a runout at the weekend. SOME TEAMS AREN'T PLAYING NEXT GW. STAY ALERT.

The tables, then. Mish are still flipping miles ahead by roughly 1500 points, but IGM did come 2nd this GW only 100 points behind. Yaay!

The BSO goes to Faith Rovers with 97, leaving me robbed of it for the second week running

Over in the H2H, Mish Mosh is balancing the crown on his noggin

The H2H table stays as it was, pretty much: no changes in the running order.

Ok, I shall hand you over to Steviepops for the traditional Shed welcome :D and remind you again - see to your teams!
