GW28- Deadline Tuesday 26th February 18.45

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Here we go again! Last GW was quite a thing, as Steve said, but NOTHING compares to the few minutes between extra time and penalties in the Carabou Cup. Unbelievable, Jeff! Kepa is lucky that he didn't get strong armed off by some of his team mates - and he lost the cup for them. Twonk. And who is going to look after Leicester? Martinbez mentioned along with Rodgers.
Anyway - Not much time, so we must get on. in 24 hours time we'll be at half time.

Tuesday 26 February

Cardiff 19:45 Everton Oh go on, Richarlison, score.
Huddersfield 19:45 Wolves Wolves, 3 nil. Doherty will storm it.
Leicester 19:45 Brighton It'll either be a Leicester slump, or a renaissance à la United.
Newcastle 20:00 Burnley BT Sport Could be the star of the evening. Both up for a fight.

Wednesday 27 February

Arsenal 19:45 Bournemouth Hmm, dunno. Should be Arsenal.
Southampton 19:45 Fulham Fulham will win, or it's Claudio back to the Foxes.
Chelsea 20:00 Spurs BT Sport Kane's back. Job done. If Kepa plays, Sarri might as well have packed already.
Crystal Palace 20:00 Man Utd OOO this is quite a game, which no one would have said a few months ago.
Liverpool 20:00 Watford Liverpool to stay top
Man City 20:00 West Ham OR... Will City be on top by the end of the night? It could ebb and flow during the games.

If the top two both slip up, Spurs edge a bit closer, though they darn well would have been better than closer if they'd won on Saturday! Dammit, Spurs!

K, look to your defences. Mid week games can be unpredictable. Injuries are rife too.

Useless. If I behaved like that at work I'd be on disciplinary.

Evening all. Another quick turnaround thingy. I only did this a week ago!

Cardiff 0-3 Everton Everton regain winning ways and Sigurdsson has a small renaissance.
Huddersfield 1-0 Wolves Last gasp winner wipes pout my clean sheet, dammit. Also, Jiminez taken off early. Boo.
Leicester 2-1 Brighton Rodgers present to watch his new team take the points. Vardy on point and Gray scores for the first time forever.
Newcastle 2-0 Burnley What are Toon doing, winning?
Arsenal 5-1 Bournemouth Blimey. Things coming together consistently. Everyone gets a look in, Ozil back on form and Bournemouth a little startled.
Southampton 2-0 Fulham The result that got Ranieri sacked, though his job was never going to be easy and both parties sigh in relief.
Chelsea 2-0 Spurs Just let me whimper in peace. Trippier... WTAF? At least Kepa wasn't on.
Crystal Palace 1-3 Man Utd Lovely run for Lukaku, Pogba having a well earned day off on the pitch.
Liverpool 5-0 Watford Virgil. VIRGIL? TWO? 'Watford were so bad that even Origi scored' - bit harsh! But they were. Mané with two, but the back heel chip is Goal of the Season, if not decade. Woah. Liverpool still on top.
Man City 1-0 West Ham City really should have done a lot better, but it took a penalty to get anywhere, 20 shots, or summat.

So we said goodbye to Puel and Ranieri, hello to Rodgers and Scott Parker (temp). Busy week, many goals!
