I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
RIP Rutger Hauer

Spooky thing: I put the "Tears in rain" speech up on my farcebook feed a couple of days ago. Turns out it was after he'd died but before it had been announced.
RIP Rutger

RIP
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Oh yes, I forgot he did plenty of those

I have to admit that the news of his passing hit me especially hard. I saw Terri Nunn live on Sunday and she dedicated one of the songs in her set to him. What a unique and charismatic actor he was.

I wachted this particular scene multiple times tonight whilst watching the Blade Runner box set....and it still gets to me how this bit of the film makes me weep. Not just this part of the film... From the first time I saw this movie....it got a hold of me. Off to see yet another cut of the movie and weep again.Pista wrote:I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
