Gavras new movie imdb reviews

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Kostas Gavras filmed a movie about the 2015 events based on a book by Yanis Varoufakis.
None could imagine that the Right-Left political war would hit imdb page of the movie one month before the movie will be released in the theatres

The user reviews (link) is unbelievable for a movie not released yet

The attack to the movie started less than a day ago by right wing trolls through twitter and fb, even emails to mass groups of fanatic far right groups

Have they all got the same notes to copy-and-paste from? You see these phrases cropping up repeatedly: "science fiction movie", "Yiani with one n".

Interesting that if you sort the reviews by review rating, you get a bunch of 1-star reviews, then one 7-star, and then nine and ten-star reviews.

This sort of thing used to go on with Amazon reviews too, especially books about "controversial" subjects.

I thought that imdb stopped comments on their site years ago for this exact reason
Cheers.

Actually what is interesting in this case is the "weaponized" of imdb rating to attack a movie before it is screened, from far-right groups, so people not go and watch it
The Rating statistics are even more interesting :?
