So Long Ginger Baker

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Lemmy on bass, Ginger Baker on drums, Lenny C on vocals, Chris Sheehan on guitar. Shame the ticket price is so damn' high.

he was an antagonistic miserable git and an overrated drummer who compounded this last fact by playing the same boring dull soslo for fucking days at a time. what i really didnt understand about him was he NEVER mentioned his short time with Hawkwind and what was, IM(not so)HO his finest hour.

this is how i want to remeber this fdlwed genius - the 1980 'Levitation' album.
RIP Ginger Baker. :|

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Well, I guess it's just possible that, what with it being Hawkwind, no-one remembers being in it - it's like the 60s, if you can remember it then you weren't there.
