Band / live photo?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

He didn´t say much between the songs, so they didn´t know what he thought of them.

That made me think of the old 'man from Del Monte' adverts - will they get approval?

:von: - he say, YES!

They had a few instrumental demos that he hadn´t heard, so they brought him to the rehersal room to play them for him. They wanted the atmosphere to resemble a gig as much as possible, so they dimmed the lights, cranked up the volume, and played him the demos. He didn´t say much between the songs, so they didn´t know what he thought of them.
After the last song, he told them: "You´ve captured the sensibilities of the first album, and combined them with the power of the third album." He was very pleased, and so were they. :)
You're not wrong Johan, that really is a wonderful story. :notworthy:

Wow! That's amazing!

(Is there a joke about "same bass player as the second album, too" or is that mean/wildly inaccurate?)
