Top news all round, not least if you live in Southern Germany though I'm sure the list will grow. Wonder what an equivalent tour of the People's Republic would look like? Actually no I don't, the KLF already did that.

First gig Charlie for you to attend? Uk a possibility?Charlie wrote:Some of you may have seen this, (i know there's a lot of overlap between groups!) but for those that haven't, someone posted on Facebook -
"European gigs planned early next year"
When asked for more details, they just put:
"March I think and all that was said was ‘Europe’"
Could be something, could be nothing, just throwing it out there!
Oh i know, it's been on my mind constantly since the rumours came out, would i be able to go, would i not?! Can i do it?!elamanamou wrote:First gig Charlie for you to attend? Logistically, unless they do Leeds, which i doubt they will, it's probably a no anyway.

Well, there is half a chance that the snow and elk will have retreated north from Leeds by April or May as well. We can only live in hope and I can promise you that the good ladies (mine's a pint please), mentioned above by my brother, are great company for a gig. If there is a northern gig in another city nearby I feel confident that a few of said girls will be found there too.
....if I have to explain, then you'll never understand....

If they schedule anything in the few days prior to these announced dates, I think my spring break plans may be made...

I feel excited and sick in equal measures, i don't know what to do!
Leeds tickets not on sale till Friday, so i need to think!
The Chancer Corporation
I know, you must all think i'm mad, it's so hard to explain.
I've never been to a gig, ever, of any band, anywhere, my anxiety is so bad.
People are a large part of that anxiety - and a massive room full of people is about as bad as it gets.
That's just one part of it, i'm not gonna go into it all and bore you, but for me to do this, is gonna be a massive undertaking!
So anyway, plan is i'll try to get a ticket for Leeds when they come up for sale (even that's giving me anxiety cos i have no clue what i'm doing! ) then i'll just have to take it from there and try to get my head round actually doing this.
I will probably need help/advice and i will have a LOT of questions, but i'll leave that for now, let's see if i get a ticket first!
And thank you again everyone for being lovely and supportive, it's partly down to you all that i can actually consider going at all.

Well, drat. Those are just a little too early. But now I'm pretty confident they'll be playing somewhere during the week I'm off. Pretty pleased by all this.paint it black wrote:Manc 07,Bristol 08th,Leeds 10th, Notts 11th

you've come to the right place Charlie -the Heartland Effect is legendary. And although i know anxiety caused by crowds isnt necessarily down to fearing for your own personal safety, you seriously couldnt be any safer or more looked after than if you were with any of us lot.Charlie wrote: And thank you again everyone for being lovely and supportive, it's partly down to you all that i can actually consider going at all.
