Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Good call. I voted this morning before work.

Sadly I've been living abroad too long to be eligible, but I have been telling everyone I know to get out there.
So what if it's raining. We're not made of sugar.
Been following the whole charade online too & am absolutely astonished at just how biased the BBC has been.
Cheers.

I tried but the queue was too big and I was going to be very late. Will leave early to vote tonight.

I think you're OK as long as you're in the queue by 10.

Yep, if you're in the queue before 10 they will wait for everyone to finish voting.

I went to vote first thing this morning - my polling station is in a church this year which is a bit weird to have politics and religion mixing!

The beeb specialise in bias and agenda! And that's just the footy page. I've avoided all the 'news' on this so far, who are they rooting for in the election Steve, I'm curious?

Not if you live over here!

Have a bad feeling about the result...It will be like the 80s again. Without the good music. And Liverpool winning the league again.

Have a guess. Listen to this from last night

Then there's Laura fcuking Kuenssberg (again) who is running what appears to be the tory propaganda machine.

@abridged.
I know you need ID where you are, but as far as I know that's the only difference.
If you're in the queue before 10pm they cannot turn you away.
If they do, then you need to inform the electoral commission straight away.
Cheers.

Ah I have already voted. It's just me being slight apocalyptic and probably over dramatic slightly about the pointlessness of voting over our way. One party doesn't really believe in Dinosaurs (not to mention supporting the Tories) and the other doesn't take their seats.

    wow utterly shameless hiding in plain sight right there. Nice link, cheers! Well, that's the beeb signed up as propaganda arm of the forthcoming UK Offshore Finance Zone (formerly Great Britain). No surprise I guess.

Kuenssberg is even worse. She actually "let slip" postal vote voting intention last night on TV.
She also (& this blew up on social media) claimed Labour activists punched Creepy Hancock's advisor outside Leeds hospital based on info from senior Tory sources.
That was a totally fabricated story & video later emerged to prove it. She even deleted the tweet later.
ITV's not much better. That slug Peston started trying to debunk the whole story of the 4 year old boy on a hospital floor as staged based on fake info from someone who didn't even work at the hospital he got off farcebook & despite the hospital & Hancock even acknowledging the problem.
The whole mainstream media is being played.
Cheers.

At the very least. It definitely has its own section in the orchestra. It seemed very clear to see the way the wind is blowing the minute ol' Queenie passed prorogation the second it was brought to the public's attention (dressed and reported as a threat by BJ). It's not remotely tin-foil hatty to observe that a course is being specifically followed, and the desired outcome will occur. The media, as ever, will play their part in serving it all up to the masses in exactly the way they're told to. Or distracting us with the footy. Both, in fact.

As for BJ himself, he's easily the equal of Trump so far as I can deduce, it's just not as funny when it's in your own backyard. At least Trump keeps things superficially amusing with his insane tweetery.

Taking that Brexit was main axis of interest, it looks that majority of Brits are for leaving EU.
Putin et consortes are opening Sovetskoye Shampanskoye.
Once again, democracy decided.

I watched some polls previous week that predict exactly what happened yesterday. The interesting part is that areas with high percent of unemployed people and what is called working class voted for Torries, is this true or wrong information given here by media? :?
I will disagree with dear Bartek, i don't believe that that man have any power to change a poll in UK or US.

And if not voters than who does?
I know, bubbles, Cambridge Analytica, trolls, lies (or as it called nowadays: "fake news") showed that now it's even easire to manipulate people, but still: who?

Yes, a lot of those traditional 'working class' Labour seats were lost and went to the Tories, for example Blyth Valley, a former mining area, or Wakefield, a Labour seat since 1931, you would never imaging them voting Tory.
However a lot of these areas voted to leave the EU in the referendum and it seems they were more bothered by that than anything else and have punished Labour for what they see as them turning their backs on them.

What a mess.
