GW24 Deadline Tuesday 21st January 18.30 pm

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I'm sure I only did the last one 5 mins ago? Steve's only just finished his!

GW STARTS TOMORROW. MIDWEEK GAMES FOR ALL, TUES/WED/THURS THEN LIVERPOOL AGAIN A WEEK ON WEDS. LIVERPOOL AND WEST HAM PLAY TWICE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

Tuesday 21 January 2020

Aston Villa 19:30 Watford Well, this is going to be fun. Red cards and VAR everywhere.
Bournemouth 19:30 Brighton Bit of a face saver for both teams, never mind it being a local derby. I bet the players all prefer the reverse fixture.
Crystal Palace 19:30 Southampton Southampton should lose.
Everton 19:30 Newcastle On the verge of cancelling each other out.
Sheffield Utd 19:30 Man City Anyone fancy Utd?
UK - BT Sport
Chelsea 20:15 Arsenal Just for once, this could be the best game of the week.
UK - BT Sport

Wednesday 22 January 2020

Leicester 19:30 West Ham Vardy *facepalm*
UK - BT Sport
Spurs 19:30 Norwich Farke for the win.
Man Utd 20:15 Burnley Hmm. Rashford now out.
UK - BT Sport

Thursday 23 January 2020
Wolves 20:00 Liverpool Goals! Points! Klopp!
UK - BT Sport

Wednesday 29 January 2020

West Ham 19:45 Liverpool Seriously, if Liverpool don't win this... and why isn't it on telly?

Get yerselves sorted then. There are some injuries, along with suspensions. Steve Cook made my day.

Can anyone keep an eye on the sausage rolls for me? Vegan in top oven, meat in bottom, cheesy ones in microwave. Mock Ofsted on Friday. Don't wait up. Ta!

It was a cracking save.

Also of some hilarity was the Toon fan getting a corner flag in the goolies.
Cheers.

Had no idea there was PL this week, cheers for the heads-up Boss! I thought this week was to be another hammering by city in the second leg, that pleasure must be next week.

Just noticed (despite the non-subtle BIG RED warning on your opening post Boss), or maybe just understood rather than noticed, that next week's games are part of this game week. You can see though can't you why that apparent logic just didn't register, how on earth can next week be this week, in any walk of life? Ah fuckity f**k, well I'm already better off than last GW so hey. In general though, right now, f**k FPL, f**k all the managers (Ole is excepted cos his team are s**t and I don't have any of his clueless, composure-less, braindead effwits in my squad, only one I'd touch right now is Greenwood but the second I pick that dude he'll break something bad), f**k all the players, and especially f**k the scousers who seemed to take it in turns to ensure whichever one was in my squad doesn't score / play, to the point that I got rid of 'em all. Just before their time paradox double GW. GRRRRRRRR.

But more important than all that, how can it be that Mikel Arteta looks more Manc than Ian Brown? How is this so?

I've got about as much the hang of it as Pereira has of playing football. Holy jiminy  Ole is our manager so support is unconditional but I fear for the fella. I'm watching the match to try divert my attention away from my FPL duffers but it ain't offering much refuge.

Damn right we have  not to mention normal (ie non-triple) captains also deciding they've had enough by half-time (cheers Vardy). My last triple-captain was raheem golden-bollox sterling, who thoughtfully didn't get injured but did, thanks to the magical powers of the TC card, muster 3 points. Not sure if that's worse than them getting crocked or not?

After 3-odd years of this, some conclusions are starting to form. All footballers and their managers are see you next Tuesday's, and the sooner we bin this crap off and start doing Fantasy Crown Green Bowling or summat, the better ;D
