GW26 - Deadline Saturday 8th February 11.30AM

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Evening, all. We had a lovely time with the last GW (not) and are now eagerlooking forward to something rather better. Or else. Steve has meticulously recorded the whole thing on the Shed walls, so make sure his wit and wisdom are not left unread.

Saturday is the start of a 9 day GW, which is unusually not a double one. Does mean that every game is on telly, though.

Saturday 8 February

Everton 12:30 Crystal Palace Er... Go Palace!
UK - BT Sport
Brighton 17:30 Watford Unless you are a fan of either, I imagine you could largely ignore this one. If you're a Norwich fan, Brighton probably
UK - BT Sport

Sunday 9 February

Sheffield Utd 14:00 Bournemouth The Blades will continue on their merry way.
UK - BT Sport
Man City 16:30 West Ham Norwich need City to thump the Spam.
UK - Sky Sports

Friday 14 February

Wolves 20:00 Leicester OOO local derby from the ancestral home.
UK - BT Sport

Saturday 15 February

Southampton 12:30 Burnley Of limited interest to Canaries fans
UK - BT Sport
Norwich 17:30 Liverpool I don't want to look.
UK - Sky Sports

Sunday 16 February

Aston Villa 14:00 Spurs Spurs need to do Norwich a favour but will probably fall apart
UK - Sky Sports

Arsenal 16:30 Newcastle A six pointer.
UK - Sky Sports

Monday 17 February

Chelsea 20:00 Man Utd Of limited interest to Canaries fans
UK - Sky Sports

There may be some kind of pattern there.

I hope all have a great GW unless you're not in IGM
I'm moving house next week so good luck. See you at some point.

So maybe this is their year Steve! Pay zero attention to mind-sapping nonsense like that. It's a bit huh? when commentators bang on about it being 57 years since team A last beat team B on a Tuesday when a fresh northerly blew in off the fells. They'll happily throw them stats out but neglect to mention they've only played each other once in that time. And the wind was blowing the other way anyway.

All that said, I notice you're 1 down :innocent:

Woke up late and by the time the pooter had warmed up to functional levels it was 11.20, so my team lacks focus this week. Might do a bit better than recently then.

And 3. Ah well The Fiends will be happy at least. I presume Everton are up to fifth now, that does seem to be how this season is operating - win a match, go fifth, next week back to somewhere lower til you win another one.

Lawks, that went on forever. Can anyone remember anything from when it started? Henderson's injured, Son is out with a broken arm that no one seemed to realise had happened, Arsenal stuffed the Toon, and Spurs only managed to beat Villa with an injury time goal scored by the man with a broken arm. He managed to miss a penalty too. There was some VAR, somewhere. Alderweireld scored at both ends and became a father within a couple of days. De Bruyne won the MC points battle with Aguero blanking, dammit. At least Mane and TAA did summat. The Wolves/Foxes game was a humdinger - my uncle wanted my Dad to wear his Wolves shirt on the ward at Leciester Royal Infirmary, but best not.
MC seem to doing a great impression of one of our younger pupils when caught out.
Anyway, during all that, I managed to move house and get broadband back. I've been wandering round dazed and confused without it, but managed to see some footy with the aid of a smart tv, iphone and a personal hotspot. Technology is great when it does what you need.
Anyway, enough of my blah. Time to get done with this GW and get a proper one going.
Tables:

Image

IGM still in the lead overall after winning the week. Good work, kids.

The Yellow Jersey rests with Dynamo Salah

Image

whilst the Big Shout Out goes to Olivers Army with 84. Very respectable.

In the H2H, Damage Dunfermline wears the Crown

Image

and the table reflects the Classic one, though IGM and BB&S did draw on 21 points for the week.

Wooo! Let's all pop over to the Shed for some.. whatever it is that goes on there...

Please note that the new Batcave has much steeper, narrower and windier stairs than the last. Careful now.
