Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

My wife and I are planning to go to see Clannad in Warsaw (it's a part of her b-day gift from me), but due to Coronavirus and fact that she's in higher risk group we might have to be forced to change this plan.
Just got back from Wovenhand/Om. Both were very good, but Wovenhand (touring as a two-piece - just DEE and drums) absolutely stole the show.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.
Nice surprise behind the door when I got home tonight, ticket I'd forgotten buying.

Now I haven't seen them since seeing them supported by Sonic Youth at Hammersmith Palais. Just googled it and that was May 8th 1986. 19 eighty bloody 6. I was 18. Still remember losing a cross on a neck chain down the front...

Front 242 Islington date is now SOLD OUT. Apparently they have been road testing 3 new tracks. (They're all at it with this new song thing )
Great to see folks here going to Clannad! Was my first ever gig, back in the 80s. Wanted to go to the St Paddy's day show but can't get around other commitments.
Tempted by the Durannies at Hyde Park!

Rapidly turning into the where I'm now not going thread:
The Mary Chain at the Barrowlands March 20 - postponed with the rest of their UK/European dates.
Meant to be at Goldfrapp in Edinburgh on March 27 - still listed but I really don't see how the tour can go ahead in the current climate.
Starting to think Nick Cave at the beginning of May might be optimistic now as well.
Frustrating, but all I'm going to lose is some train fares and one non_refundable hotel booking. Pretty minor to the assault on band, crew, promoter and venue finances.
