WE'RE BACK
So let's get on with finishing this season. With unlimited transfers for this week only, Double GWs for Villa, the Blades, Man C and the Arse, now might be the time to pay attention at the back, right?
Here are the fixtures, in glorious technicolour (all predictions based on sweet FA):
Wednesday 17 June 2020
The DGW clubs all play today
Aston Villa 18:00 Sheffield Utd Sky Sports Sean Bean will be there and the Blades will stuff Villa.
Man City 20:15 Arsenal Sky Sports Could be a draw? A bit tentative?
Friday 19 June 2020
Norwich 18:00 Southampton Sky Sports COME ON YOU YELLOWS though no one yet knows who's got covid at Norwich
Spurs 20:15 Man Utd Sky Sports COME ON YOU SPURS though that Rashford lad is a golden star
Saturday 20 June 2020
Watford 12:30 Leicester BT Sport Leicester and Vardy to come back like ex-champions
Brighton 15:00 Arsenal BT Sport Perhaps Brighton could lose for the Canaries' benefit
West Ham 17:30 Wolves Sky Sports Wolves to win - 1st game after Dad's death - that would be nice.
Bournemouth 19:45 Crystal Palace BBC I suppose we have more Palace fans that Bournemouth?
Sunday 21 June 2020
Newcastle 14:00 Sheffield Utd Sky Sports The Blades will do it again
Aston Villa 16:15 Chelsea Sky Sports I can't see Villa winning, but you never know.
Everton 19:00 Liverpool Sky Sports The Reds will take the honours today. Good.
Monday 22 June 2020
Man City 20:00 Burnley Sky Sports Another City win, but who will play? Not the people in your team, that's who!
The sofa is set for some proper football use since we got it, now that the best box set in the world is back. It'll be different, but it's what we've got. The sausage rolls of all kinds will be ready, the bar is open, the cobwebs are fresh and I've got takeaway ordered.
Let's go. Are YOU ready?

Thanks for the reminder. I wouldn't normally have many Villa or Sheff U players in there but needs must.
No more fiddling now. This is it

Glory be. Not time enough to draw breath round here. So many games to wallow in. So let's catch up on the first week back of our beloved game, and the slightly more annoying Fantasy one.
So, there we were with all of our Double GW players sorted, snacks, beers, cats etc to watch the not awfully attractive VILSHE game.
The silence and the taking the knee was incredibly emotional and set the scene for every game.
It kinda all went to script - all rusty and creaky, some fuss and bother - until THAT HAWKEYE WTF MOMENT. The ball was as over the line as any Russian linesman could desire, but - no. Someone had plugged it in but not switched on at the wall. A disallowed clear goal that the Blades had every right to be very very cross about. Credit to them for not lashing out, but Villa incredibly lucky. If they stay up by 1 point, they need to pay for Hawkeye's Christmas do. My friend's brother-in-law works for Hawkeye but didn't go back to work until Friday.
Sterling said that they had seen the start of the Villa game and decided to do the same before KO. Kudos, because if there hadn't been plans at every club, there certainly were now. City let rip with their rota and subs, coming away as rampant winners as Arsenal just looked ragged and poor. Luiz on then off pretty swiftly- lawksamercy, he's got a 1 year contract extension. Enough goals and assists to help out City owners.
Skip to Friday and the games in hand out of the way. We are not talking about Norwich's game but neither team shone. Spurs managed a draw v Man U but again both teams below their best, though Kane back. Saturday! Leicester fail to help Norwich by beating Watford. Brighton beat Gooners who looked poor yet again, Maupay causing somewhat of a stir with his winner after earlier dustups. Social distancing wasn't a thing for a few minutes. That Guendozi's a bit fiery, innit?
Wolves stuffed the Spammers with a couple of cracking goals, Palace won against Bournemouth largely thanks to another cracker from Milivojevic, and we all went to bed hoping players would be match fit next GW.
On Sunday, the Blades looked awful against Toon in their second GW game, and lost heavily. Joelinton managed to score though after 68 years. Pulisic and Giroud helped Chelsea to the points over Villa - what on earth does anyone see in Grealish? Hause's goal wasn't bad.
Everyone wanted to see the Merseyside Derby. All three points please, to get this wrapped up sooner? But no - Liverpool were a bit unsteady and without Salah and Gini, Everton played well, and it was a draw. Ah well, next game? Perhaps City will slip up tomorrow and... oh. No. They took down Burnley in fine style in a fine team performance.
Glad to say that the person responsible for that disgraceful plane banner has Been Dealt With. Full credit to Burnley for their instant condemnation, and to Ben Mee for his words after the game. Let's hope that some one somewhere learned something sensible from it.
Ok, on to the exciting part! Our bit! The tables!
BB&S won the week by a country mile, but IGM are still winning overall. Yaay! But we'll have to watch our behinds as we're not far ahead.
The Yellow Jersey belongs to DynaMo Salah this week
and the Big Shout Out for 109 points !!!! goes to both Dead Men Walking and Grewelthorpe Utd, which must be a record of sorts.
There is no H2H. It was so incredibly complicated to do that unfortunately it's had to be furloughed.
I hope your GW30+ went well - mine didn't! Off you pop to TCC to find out what happened in GW31...
