Brainy Quotes site with Eldritch quotes

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

This is a strange website full of quotes from “famous” people, including our very own Uncle Andy.

Has a stack of Eldritch sound bites and quotes on. The site doesn’t state the source of each quote (when viewed on mobile anyway) but they seem to come from a variety of interviews from over the years. L

Would have been nice to have a source for each one listed, but it still makes for some entertaining and amusing reading, and it’s good to be reminded that Von could be too smart for his own good sometimes 🤣

I don't want people to come and see our gig because of the magnificent things I'm doing with my hips, but it's their evening, you know. They have to have fun. I'm a little bit naive.

Oooh.
The citizen is becoming a pawn in a game where nobody knows the rules, where everybody consequently doubts that there are rules at all, and where the vocabulary has been diminished to such an extent that nobody is even sure what the game is all about.
Cheers.

Page can be plenty more full, and they don't even have any good stage banter quotes. I love his utter contempt for the UK music press (well deserved).

Paraphrasing, but he said something along the lines of "wouldn't it be nice to have a government that obviated the need for charity" sometime around the 93 charity gig. Always stuck with me, that one...

i love the fact that they consider Cheryl Cole nee Tweedy / Fernandez-Versini / Whoever-the-f**k-she-is-now to be a 'Related Author'.

"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I wonder how many of the site's visitors knew who that oddly named Eldritch cove was in the first place. Not many folk venture down this rabbit hole and we, the converted, often forget that.

Thanks, there are very wise and intelligent quotes of many people on this site. But it´s ugly to see the "find on amazon" advertisements between such deep thoughts.

I don't see them. Fortunately. Always reject all unnecessary cookies, maybe that's why. Or the ad blockers, I've installed...

Ad blockers. I have the same. Just see empty spaces instead. Didn’t even realise that site had ads.
